<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up chopper circuit that can use a transistor with a withstanding voltage of around half or less than that of a conventional one as a switching transistor. <P>SOLUTION: In a step-up chopper circuit, a coil L1 and transistors Q1, Q2 are connected in series with a DC power supply, a series circuit including a diode D1 and a capacitor C1 is connected with both ends of the transistor Q1; and a series circuit including a diode D2 and a capacitor C2 is connected with both ends of the transistor Q2. The transistors Q1, Q2 are turned on to accumulate energy in the coil 1; only the transistor Q1 is then turned on to charge the capacitor C2 with the energy accumulated in the coil 1 through the path composed of the coil L1, the transistor Q1, the capacitor C2, and the diode D2; the transistors Q1, Q2 are turned on again to accumulate energy in the coil 1; and only the transistor Q2 is then turned on to charge the capacitor C1 with the energy accumulated in the coil 1 through the path composed of the coil L1, the diode D1, the capacitor C1, and the transistor Q2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
