<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitted/scattered light type turbidimeter which can measure the turbidity of a sample liquid accurately at low costs without involving increase in the number of detectors, performance of complicated turbidity calculation, or use of a scattered light detector in a special form. <P>SOLUTION: A turbidimeter comprises a measuring cell 2 into which a sample liquid 14 is guided, a light source 16 which irradiates the sample liquid inside the measuring cell with light, a transmitted light detector 18 which detects light 20 transmitted through the sample liquid, a concave mirror 22 which is disposed at the back of the transmitted light detector with a light reflection surface 24 thereof facing the measuring cell and focuses on the back of the transmitted light detector, and a scattered light detector which is disposed between the transmitted light detector and the concave mirror with a light incident surface 28 facing the concave mirror and of which light incident surface is positioned at or near the focal point of the concave mirror. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
