<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of preventing pullback of ejected ink into a nozzle, and remarkably reducing time required for recovery of a recording head. <P>SOLUTION: When performing recovery operation of a recording head 13, ink 22 in a cylinder 21a is supplied to the recording head 13 through a second supply path 25 by pressurizing a syringe pump 21 while an inflow-side valve 27 is closed. The supplied ink 22 is forcibly purged to an ink ejection surface 13a from an ink ejection nozzle 15. By this purging operation, thickened ink, foreign matter and bubbles in the ink ejection nozzle 15 are discharged. Next, while an outflow-side valve 29 is closed and the inflow-side valve 27 is opened, wiping of the ink 22 ejected to the ink ejection surface 13a by a wiper 30 and refilling of the ink 22 into the syringe pump 21 are performed at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
