DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PUF-BASED INTER-DEVICE SECURITY AUTHENTICATION IN MACHINE-TO-MACHINE COMMUNICATION
摘要
Terminals which perform machine-to-machine communication use PUF to autonomously generate PIN values that do not leak externally, and the terminals themselves perform password authentication. A terminal device which performs the machine-to-machine communication may comprise: a PUF which is embedded in the terminal device and generates an authentication key for the purpose of authentication of a password associated with the terminal device; and an authentication unit which uses the authentication key generated by the PDF in order to perform knowledge based authentication associated with the terminal.
