COMBINATIONS OF ANTI-HCV-ENTRY FACTOR ANTIBODIES AND INTERFERONS FOR THE TREATMENT AND THE PREVENTION OF HCV INFECTION

The present invention provides combinations for use in the treatment or the prevention of HCV infection. In particular, combinations are provided that comprise at least one anti-HCV-entry factor antibody and at least one interferon, wherein the anti-HCV-entry factor antibody and interferon act in a highly synergistic manner to inhibit HCV infection of susceptible cells. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising such combinations and methods of using these compositions and kits for treating or preventing HCV infection.
