A rotating grasp (4) is rotatable around a rotational axis with respect to a rotating grasp base (3) from an original position to a maximum rotational position in two directions. A remote control transmitter (8) is operated for generating control signals for the hoist motor. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rotating grasp controller for a hoist e.g. chain hoist and DEMAG speedhoist, for a DEMAG manulift. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The controller enables single-handed operation of the hoist. The controller is ergonomic, and enables vertical motion of a loading hook and/or a lifting attachment unit. The controller enables controlled manual horizontal guidance of the loading hook and/or the lifting attachment unit. The controller enables wireless transmission of the signal to the hoist for the vertical motion of the loading hook and/or the lifting attachment unit. The controller can be fixed at arbitrary ergonomic height on the lifting attachment unit.
