<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor which allows a user to know electronic money balance without settlement or without inquiring of a clerk for the balance. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity information processor includes input means for inputting commodity information, display means for displaying a money amount of commodity information input at the input means, an IC reader/writer for reading information on electronic money from an IC chip, and settlement means for performing settlement regarding the commodity information input at the input means on the basis of the information on electronic money read by the IC reader/writer. The commodity information processor has display means for acquiring electronic money information included in the IC chip and displaying the balance of the electronic money on a display machine when the IC reader/writer recognizes the IC chip including the electronic money information in a state in which a mode has been changed by a specific operation for the mode change. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
