<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device or an instrument that irradiates simply and handily the desired site to which direct light from an external does not reach, and can observe and operate from the external. <P>SOLUTION: The device or the instrument comprises arranging or composing reasonably a grip 1, a flexible part 2, a light source section 3, and a function section 4. The flexible part 2 can be bent and twisted in a prescribed angle, and can be bent and twisted in two or more directions in the setting of a length.
