<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a local temperature distribution of a billet in a continuous casting machine, by pre-estimating a heat transfer configuration without analysis thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature estimation method includes: an input step (S1) that inputs a position for estimating a temperature of the billet in the continuous casting machine; an acquisition step (S2) for acquiring an operating condition to calculate a coefficient of heat-transfer; a calculation step (S3-S8) for calculating a plurality of heat transfer coefficients in the position based on the operating condition; a selection step (S9) for selecting one from among the plurality of heat transfer coefficients; and a heat transfer calculation step (S10) for calculating a heat transfer by using the selected heat transfer coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
