METHOD FOR REMOVING WATERPROOF COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing waterproof coating which can save the used amount of dry ice without the need for increasing the injection pressure of dry ice.

SOLUTION: A method for removing waterproof coating comprises a heating step of heating a fastening member on a bridge steel plate floor and a waterproof coating (10) existing in the surroundings thereof (3B in figure 3) and a dry ice injection step of injecting dry ice (DI) to the waterproof coating (3C in figure 3) after the heating step (3B in figure 3), and in the dry ice injection step (3C in figure 3) the injected dry ice (DI) is pierced in the waterproof coating (10) softened in the heating step and is pushed inside the waterproof coating (10), and the dry ice (DI) pushed inside the waterproof coating (10) is sublimated and expanded by heat quantity movement of the waterproof coating (10) so as to fracture the waterproof coating (10) and to peel the waterproof coating (10) from the steel plate floor.
