<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially-advantageous and highly-pure fluoroalkanesulfonic acid having an efficiently-reduced sulfur component, in production of the fluoroalkanesulfonic acid derived from a fluoroalkanesulfonic acid salt. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the fluoroalkanesulfonic acid represented by general formula [1] (in the formula, R<SP POS="POST">f</SP>represents a 1-4C straight-chain or 3-4C branched-chain fluoroalkyl group) includes following steps: (1) a step in which fluoroalkanesulfonic acid salt is reacted with concentrated sulfuric acid and/or oleum to be acidolyzed, and a reaction mixture including the fluoroalkanesulfonic acid and a sulfur component is obtained; and (2) a step in which an oxidizing agent is added to the reaction mixture obtained in the step, and distilled in succession, to obtain the fluoroalkanesulfonic acid from the reaction mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
