<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope, where the observation optical system is cleaned with a guide wire kept inserted therein, while trying to reduce its insertion part in diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope 1 includes an elongated part to be inserted into an body cavity, an observation optical system 13 arranged at the leading end of the insertion part and collecting light from the subject body, a channel 14 formed along the longitudinal direction of the insertion part, flowing fluid through it and having a guide wire 20 passing through it, a seal part 15 arranged at the channel 14 and sealing the clearance between the channel 14 and the guide wire 20, when the guide wire 20 is inserted in the channel 14, and an opening 16 provided at a position closer to the base end than the seal part 15 and discharging a fluid passing the channel 14 toward the observation optical system 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
