<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire capable of making wet performance higher than ever before by making friction resistance between water flowing through a groove and a groove surface lower than ever before. <P>SOLUTION: A waviness portion 23 in which libretto 24 configured by juxtaposing a plurality of small grooves 26 are formed is provided on a grove bottom of a main circumferential groove 14. The waviness portion 23 has a wavelength set within a range of 0.05-1.5 times the ground contact length of a tread 12 and set within a range of 10-5,000 times the width-direction arrangement pitch of the small grooves 26, and has a wave height set within a range of 1.0-5.0 mm. Thereby, a flow of water in the main groove can be periodically fluctuated along the longitudinal direction of the main groove. This fluctuation can bring about such an effect as to generate vibration on the groove surface on which the plurality of small grooves are formed, reduce the resistance of the water flowing through the groove, enhance the drainage efficiency of the groove, and make the wet performance higher than ever before. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
