The main microcomputer 27 determines a fuel injection cylinder and outputs an injection signal, as well as port-outputs fuel pressure detection commands including A/D conversion cylinder signals P1 and P2 (cylinder information) and an A/D conversion start signal Q. The sub microcomputer 28 identifies the cylinder number based on the port-input A/D conversion cylinder signals P1 and P2 and transmits the recognized cylinder number to the main microcomputer 27 by communication, as well as acquires a fuel pressure transition by sequentially A/D converting a fuel pressure detection signal of the identified cylinder.
