<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device that can easily move an overhead transport vehicle stopped at a slope track part, and achieve improvement in workability. <P>SOLUTION: The moving device 1 supports and moves the overhead transport vehicle 100 traveling along a track R at the slope track part SR of the track R, and includes: a guide unit 10 provided along the slope track part SR; a slide part 12 provided to be slidable in the guide unit 10; a moving mechanism 16 moving the slide part 12 along the guide unit 10; and a supporting part 14 connected to the slide part 12, and supporting the overhead transport vehicle 100 at the slope track part SR.
