PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, in case pellets of a foaming killing agent for steelmaking are extrusion-molded by a screw extruder, a bearing metal supporting the tip part of a screw, or a bearing portion, is damaged to make the life thereof short because a large torque is applied, and the production efficiency is deteriorated because troubles, such as the lock of the bearing metal or the wear of a nozzle of a breaker plate, caused by the intrusion of the foaming killing agent into the bearing portion, occur.
SOLUTION: A screw extruder is durable against large torque by a structure such that an intermediate shaft is inserted into a screw shaft tip part and the breaker plate, and both ends of the intermediate shaft are supported by bearing metals. Further grease is stored in the intermediate shaft and supplied in accordance with the consumption of the grease used for the bearing metal to prevent the intrusion of the foaming killing agent into the bearing metal. A cemented carbide is used for the nozzle. In the front side of the nozzle, the diameter thereof is decreased. Also, in the rear side of the nozzle, the diameter thereof is increased. Thereby improving the extrusion-molding efficiency.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
