<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve low power consumption for a two-wire AC switch. <P>SOLUTION: The two-wire AC switch, inserted into a cable run for connecting an AC power supply with a load, includes: a main switch 3 having switch terminals S1, S2, gate terminals G1, G2 for controlling on-off operations between the switch terminals, a substrate terminal Sub, and a semiconductor switch in which electric current can be bidirectionally run between the switch terminals, the switch terminal S1 is connected with an AC power supply 1 and the switch terminal S2 is connected with a load 2; and a sub switch 9 which switches between grounding and floating the substrate terminal Sub of the main switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
