An LED backlight driving method, a liquid crystal display device, and an LED backlight driving circuit. The LED backlight driving method comprises the steps of: equalizing the voltage of each LED string (1) by adjusting the current of the LED strings (1); and allowing an effective value of the current of each LED string (1) to reach a predetermined brightness requirement by adjusting a duty cycle of the current of a corresponding LED string (1). The present invention solves the problem of wearing due to voltage difference by adjusting the amount of current via a current adjusting module (2) to ensure equal voltage for each LED string (1), while at the same time, ensures the consistency of brightness by adjusting the duty cycle via a duty cycle adjusting module (3) to allow equal effective value for the current of each LED string (1).
