<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device, and a lighting fixture, capable of restraining troubles due to rotation of the lighting fixture. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting device of the lighting fixture includes engaging pawls retaining the lighting fixture through engagement, a release lever releasing an engaging status by the engaging pawls, and a connection cord for feeding power to the lighting fixture.
