<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor having a large capacity achieved with the diameter of the impeller reduced to a minimum. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the centrifugal compressor 1 including a drive gear 11, a drive shaft 3 extending from the drive gear 11 to one side in the direction of the center axis, a first driven gear 12 to which the rotation of the drive gear 11 is transmitted, a first driven shaft 5 extending to both sides of the first driven gear 12 in the direction of the center axis, and two first-stage compression sections 7a, 7b which are each set at both sides of the first driven shaft 5 in the direction of the center axis and compress a fluid by the rotation of the first driven shaft 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
