<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotate an oil pump in one direction all the time regardless of a rotating direction of a rotating shaft while simplifying a structure of a drive unit driving the oil pump. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive unit 2 for the oil pump, a rotating direction change mechanism 6 includes a planetary gear mechanism 8 having three rotating elements performing differential rotation. When the three rotating elements are disposed on a collinear chart, one of the first rotating element and the second rotating element which are located at both ends is connected to the rotating shaft 4, and the other is connected to a drive shaft 5. When the rotating shaft 4 rotates in the normal direction, any two of the three rotating elements are interconnected by a first one-way clutch 13 so that the three rotating elements rotate integrally. When the rotating shaft 4 rotates in the reverse direction, the third rotating element is connected to a housing 7 by a second one-way clutch 14 to prevent the third rotating element from rotating in the reverse direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
