<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the freshness of a storage material by inhibiting the adhesion of dew condensation water on the storage material and suppressing the drying of the storage material in a storage case. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a storage chamber 5 in which an opening 5a at the front face thereof is opened and closed by a door 5b; the storage case 10 for storing the storage material and supported slidably in the front and rear direction; a small article case 11 opened and closed by sliding on the upper face of the storage case 10 in the front and rear direction and sealing the storage case 10 and itself at the front end when being closed; a projected part 11b extending downward from the small article case 11 at the rear of the storage case 10; and a water receiving part 42 provided at the lower face of the storage chamber 5.
