The purpose of the present embodiment is to provide a lithium-ion cell in which a lithium-manganese composite oxide is used, the lithium-ion cell being one in which manganese elution and increase in resistance are suppressed and high-temperature lifespan characteristics are excellent. This lithium-ion cell is provided with at least a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, and an electrolyte, the lithium-ion cell being characterized in that: the positive electrode active material is a lithium-manganese composite oxide; the positive electrode contains a bismuth oxide, and a metal compound adhering to a part of the surface of the lithium-manganese composite oxide; and the speed of elution of metal from the metal compound into the electrolyte is less than the speed of manganese elution of the lithium-manganese composite oxide. |
