摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing glyceric acid and/or tartronic acid with a high conversion rate in a liquid phase oxidation reaction of glycerol by using an ion exchange resin as a support of the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing tartronic acid and/or glyceric acid via a liquid phase oxidation reaction of glycerol by using oxygen as an oxidizing agent in the presence of a catalyst. In the method, glyceric acid and/or tartronic acid are/is produced with a high conversion rate by using as the catalyst, a catalyst formed by making nanoparticles composed of two components of gold and palladium to be supported on an anion exchange resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
