<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively wipe a push switch between a movable contact and a stationary contact. <P>SOLUTION: Under an initial condition that a push rod 2 is pressed, a base 41 of a movable contact board 40 supporting a movable contact 55 is inclined in contact with diagonal extension parts 70, 71 of a moving block 60 by a second coil spring 8. When the movable contact moves upward to follow the projection of the push rod and contacts the stationary contact 33, the base comes into contact with a stopper 20. Thereafter, only the moving block moves upward, and therefore, the movable contact board rotates along an edge of the stopper in cancelling pressing by the extension parts. Thereby, the movable contact is significantly displaced to slide to the stationary contact. A leg part 52 of a movable contact plate extending from the base and having the movable contact is flexed by an arm part 59 of a presser member in advance, and therefore, a contact pressure between the movable contact and the stationary contact is high at the moment of contact.
