<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a permanent magnet rotor type motor using a triac to open or close an AC power supply as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2006-180641, that although this type of motor is highly efficient and effective as an alternative to an AC single-phase induction motor, its startup is instable, its torque fluctuation is large, and its starting current is large. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet rotor type motor using an alternating current power supply has the number of phases of its stator winding increased to two or more, the rotor position and the polarity of the AC power supply are detected, and a triac is used to open or close the current, thereby generating torque in one direction. All this makes it possible to provide a motor whose starting characteristic is good and whose vibration is small. Furthermore, by increasing the inductance of the winding, it is possible to provide a permanent magnet rotor type motor which is highly efficient and safe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
