<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-making and packaging machine capable of stably pressing and bending a lower seal part of a bottom of a bag of a flat bottom type. <P>SOLUTION: This bag-making and packaging machine for manufacturing a bag from a tubular film comprises a lateral seal mechanism and a bottom plate. The lateral seal mechanism laterally seals the tubular film to form an upper seal part and a lower seal part SL2 extending along a horizontal surface. When shaping a bottom of the bag, the bottom plate 71a moves in a second horizontal direction HD2 crossing a first horizontal direction HD1 in which the lower seal part SL2 extends to push down the lower seal part SL2, and changes the pose of the lower seal part SL2. The bottom plate 71a is at least larger than a width of the bottom lower part FA along the first horizontal direction HD1. The bottom plate 71a is configured to move in the second horizontal direction HD2 so that the central part at a distal end abutting against the lower seal part SL2 abuts against the lower seal part SL2 earlier than both ends of the distal end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
