INSULATION ELECTRIC WIRE AND WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation electric wire having excellent heat dissipation and capable of reducing the number of operation man-hours and the number of components required for binding to the other insulation electric wire and adding a function to protect the electric wire, and a wire harness including such an insulation electric wire.

SOLUTION: A wire harness 1 comprises: a widest gutter-like cable 10; a round cable 9; and a binding material 8. A curved insulating coating 3 of the gutter-like cable 10 includes a plurality of conductors 2, and holds the plural conductors 2 while they are parallely aligned along a curved face F1 curved in a width direction. A recess-side coating part 31 of the curved insulation coating 3 forms a recessed face curved in the width direction to coat one side of the plural parallely aligned conductors 2 at first thickness. A projection-side coating part 32 of the curved insulation coating 3 forms a projection face curved in the width direction to coat the other side of the plural parallely aligned conductors 2 at second thickness larger than the first thickness. The binding material 8 binds the gutter-like cable 10 and the round cable 9 while the round cable 9 is opposed to the recess-side coating part 31.
