<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality while reducing manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: An image pickup unit comprises: an image pickup element for converting an optical image to an electrical signal; an optical member disposed on a subject side of the image pickup element; a plate joined to one edge of the optical member; and a vibrating member joined to the plate. This enables sufficient prevention of adhesion of dust to the optical member by transmitting vibration with a large amplitude to the optical member regardless of the size of the vibrating member, so that image quality can be improved while manufacturing cost is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
