PURPOSE: A cooling stand structure for a continuous casting machine is provided to prevent a fail of slab caused by damaged rollers of a cooling stand. CONSTITUTION: A cooling stand structure for a continuous casting machine comprises a cooling stand(10), a cooling water spray unit(20), a cooling stand chamber(30), and a cooling fluid spray unit(40). The cooling stand is arranged under a mold which molten metal tapped from a tundish passes through and includes a plurality of rolls(11) arranged at certain intervals to transfer slab, which is cooled first in the mold. The cooling water spray unit sprays cooling water to the slab transferred through the cooling stand. The cooling stand is arranged inside the cooling stand chamber. The cooling fluid spray unit sprays cooling fluid into the cooling stand chamber in order to control the internal temperature of the cooling stand chamber. |
