The device can be adapted to receive values of the maximum permissible components for a number of different operations which are checked against the actual values in step with individual operations prescribed by a central control device 13. The central control device can feed the operational sequence to a storage device 18 which may consist of a magnetic tape system which is advanced step-by-step under the control of the central control device as the latter is operated to cause the machine tool to perform successive machining operations. The sensors are rigid and can embody piezo-electric crystals, piezo. resistive crystals or strain gauge strips. |
