PURPOSE: An organic light emitting display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption by converting image data and driving one sub pixel. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting panel(200) defines a plurality of sub pixels. A timing control unit(300) outputs RGB data into a plurality of sub pixels in a general mode. The timing control unit converts the RGB data into single data in a power saving mode and aligns the single data. The timing control unit outputs the aligned single data to one sub pixel. A power saving mode signal output unit(900) outputs a power saving mode signal to the timing control unit.
