Provided is a system and method thereof for diagnosing communication abnormality of an air conditioner. This system for diagnosing communication abnormality of an air conditioner is provided with: an interface part for detecting the communication abnormality of the air conditioner; and a monitoring device connected to the air conditioner through the interface part for diagnosing a generation factor of the detected communication abnormality to report it to the relevant reporter. In the system and method thereof provided in this invention, the case of communication disability by power shutdown from the case of an actual communication fault is discriminated, and the diagnosis result thereof is only appropriately reported to a relevant reporter. |
