PURPOSE: A hinge assembly of a vehicle tailgate is provided to prevent a quality problem which is caused by an assembled dispersion by combining a function of the tailgate hinge for the opening and closing and an open state crackdown checker. CONSTITUTION: A hinge assembly of a vehicle tailgate comprises a car body bracket(11), a tailgate bracket(13), a first load(15), a second load(16). The car body bracket is installed at a side of car having a pin hole(10) on the rear side walls. The tailgate bracket has a guide hole which is formed along the both side wall. The tailgate bracket guide hole is formed along the side walls(12). The tailgate bracket is installed at a hinge member of the tailgate. The first load is combined with a first bracket load at the pin hole of the car bracket with a torsion spring(14) as a rotatable structure. The second load is combined with the other end of the first load. The second load travels along the guide hole of the tailgate bracket through the other end.
