PURPOSE: A tub for a washing machine is provided to form a lower part round unit, an inner side round unit, and an upper part round unit of a curved shape corresponding to a perimeter of a rib unit, thereby reducing precipitation of pollutants. CONSTITUTION: A housing unit(10) includes an inner space for storing washing water. Reinforcing grooves(24) are formed in a rib unit(20) corresponding to a base surface(16) of the housing unit. A lower part round unit(30) forms a curved surface in both sides of the rib unit. The rib unit forms the reinforcing grooves in the base surface. |
