PURPOSE: A stapler is provided to facilitate and ensure the loading and discharge of staples, and to be produced with a low cost by interlocking the open/close of the handle with the retreat of the pusher. CONSTITUTION: A stapler(10) comprises a magazine(2A), a pusher(3A), a pusher spring(4), a driver(6), an upper side steering wheel(7), a lower side steering wheel(8), and a pusher band(9). The driver separates one staple from the loaded staples in the magazine for stapling. The driver is located in the upper side steering wheel. The lower side steering wheel has a clincher(80) which curves the fin portion(10b) of the staple passing through paper, and rotatably supports the magazine and the upper side steering wheel. The pusher band forces the pusher to retreat by delivering the action of opening the upper side steering wheel. At least one between the pusher and the upper side steering wheel has band holding parts(32,62), which hold the pusher band by receiving engaging holes(90,91) at both ends of the pusher band, and band removal preventing parts(33,63), which prevents the pusher band from separating from the band holding parts by contacting to the end of the pusher band hanging in the band holding parts. |
