SHIFT REGISTER AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A shift register and a display device using the same are provided to prevent the breakdown of a gate insulation layer in thin film transistors by supplying a gate low voltage to a gate electrode in voltage blocking transistors. CONSTITUTION: A Q node discharging unit discharges a Q node(Q) to a gate low voltage. A QB node charging unit charges a QB node(QB) with a gate high voltage. A Q node charging unit implements a Q node with a gate high voltage. A QB node discharging unit discharges the QB node with the gate low voltage. A Q node voltage blocking unit blocks connection between the Q node discharge unit, the Q node charging unit, and the Q node. An output unit outputs a pulse synchronized with a clock inputted through a clock terminal.
