PURPOSE: A balcony handrail of an apartment building is provided to allow an occupant to enter a boarding basket to escape, thereby minimizing panic and quickly and safely evacuating children, elderly, and weak persons without the danger of falling. CONSTITUTION: A balcony handrail(20) of an apartment building includes a lower support(22), an upper support(21), plural lattice members(23), and an escape apparatus(200). The lower support has both sides fixed to a wall body(11) of the apartment building and is horizontally arranged at the lower side of a balcony(13). The upper support has both sides fixed to the wall body of the apartment building and is horizontally arranged at the upper side of the lower support. The lattice member has both sides respectively coupled to the upper support and the lower support is vertically arranged between the upper support and the lower support. The escape apparatus is equipped with a hoist(210) and a boarding basket(230). One side of the hoist is rotatably coupled to the lower support, and the other side of the hoist is detachably coupled to the upper support. The boarding basket is coupled to one side of the hoist(210). |
