PURPOSE: A VOC(Volatile Organic Compound) reducing device for an oil tanker is provided to reduce VOC generated in a vertical pipe when loading and unloading oil as the internal pressure of the vertical pipe is quickly increased by a pressure container installed in the vertical pipe. CONSTITUTION: A VOC reducing device for an oil tanker(100) comprises at least one pressure container. The pressure container is installed in a vertical pipe(30) and increases the internal pressure of the vertical pipe. The vertical pipe is divided into an upper vertical pipe and a lower vertical pipe. The pressure container comprises outer containers(114,124) and inner containers(112,122). The upper vertical pipe is inserted at the top of the outer containers and the lower vertical pipe is connected at the bottom thereof. The inner vertical pipe is arranged in the outer containers and encloses the bottom of the upper vertical pipe inserted in the outer containers. The top of the inner containers is opened and the bottom thereof is closed.
