PURPOSE: A microwave oven is provided to move a grill hinged on the upper side of the cooking chamber in a lower direction if necessary, thereby easily using the grill. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven(1) comprises a cavity(10), a rack(20), a fixing part(30), and a detachable coupling part(40). The cavity has a cooking chamber(11). The rack is installed on the upper side of the cooking chamber, and moves up and down inside the cooking chamber. The fixing part is placed on the upper side of the cooking chamber, and fixes the rack on the cooking chamber. The detachable coupling part is placed to be separated from the fixing part in the cooking chamber. The rack is attached and detached to the detachable coupling part. The rack includes a frame(21), a grill(22), and a connecting part(23). The frame is settled to be slidable on the fixing part. The grill, on which food is laid, is placed to be separated from the frame in a lower direction. The connecting part connects the frame and the grill. The connecting part is hinged when the grill moves to the frame, and is unfolded when the grill move in the lower direction of the frame. The fixing parts are separated from the upper side of the cooking chamber, and are placed to be mutually opposed on both sides of the cooking chamber from the front to the rear of the cooking chamber. The fixing parts guides the frame to be slid, and includes support members(31,32) for supporting the frame.
