<p>The device has base modules (BM1-BMn) comprising parallel-connected strands (11-14) that are provided with series-connected battery cells (15) i.e. lithium ion battery cells. The modules are connected with a power grid (40) and a local electrical power generator (34). The cells are simultaneously charged by the power grid and the power generator during supply of electricity to the power grid and/or to local users (36). Each module comprises a control unit (16) controlling the electricity supply and the charging of the battery cells. Diodes (D) are arranged at an output of each strand. The device has a current limiter arranged at an end of a discharge circuit of each strand.</p> |
