METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VISUALIZING THE REGISTRATION QUALITY OF MEDICAL IMAGE DATA SETS

PURPOSE: A visualization method of matching quality of a medical image data set and a device are provided to automatically display a critical area with a notable color, thereby reducing time for a doctor. CONSTITUTION: A reference image(10) and an object image(20) are collected. The object image and the reference image are matched by a matching method. A transformation field is determined. An overlap mask and one or more regions of a converged image(40) are overlapped. One or more regions of the converged image and the overlap mask are visualized.
