PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically starting a fire extinguishing pump is provided to prevent the malfunction of a fire extinguishing pump. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically starting a fire extinguishing pump comprises a water pressure sensing pipe(12) which divides to form the main discharging tube of a fire extinguishing pump, two or more pressure switches(22a,22b) and check valves(16) which are installed in a water pressure sensing pipe, an orifice hole(34) which is formed on the disk of the check valve, a globe valve(14) which is mounted between the check valve and main tube, and a flowing water confirmation window(18) which is installed in a water pressure sensing pipe.
