LUBRICANT COMPOSITION CONTAINING NANO MOLYBDENUM OXIDE

PURPOSE: A lubricating oil composition is provided to offer a lubricating composition having no precipitation and maintaining transparent color such as typical engine oil and automatic transmission fluid. CONSTITUTION: A lubricating composition is a lubrication composition being made by including a large amount of lubricant base oil and molybdenum oxide nano particles in the range of 0.001 weight% - 5 weight%. The average diameter of molybdenum oxide nano particle ranges 1 - 200 nm. The average diameter of molybdenum oxide nano particle ranges 10 - 25 nm. The molybdenum oxide nano particles are included in the range of 0.5 weight% - 3 weight%. The lubricant base oil is selected from mineral lubricating oil, vegetable lubricating oil, synthetic lubricating oil or a group made of a mixture of these. The lubricating composition offers more than 30% increased abrasion resistance compared to the case having no molybdenum oxide nano particles present when the abrasion resistance test is performed by measuring the average diameter of worn out of the fixing tool after rotating a ball of the upper part for 60 minutes with a speed of 1200 rpm, a load of 40 kg at temperature of 75°C of oil.
