PURPOSE: An oil pressure storage device and a control method thereof are provided to store fluid in a setting condition to stably supply the fluid to operating elements which are operated using the liquid; and to rapidly supply the liquid in the other setting conditions. CONSTITUTION: A control method of an oil pressure storage device includes a stage that fills oil in the oil pressure storage device while an engine operates; a stage that maintains the filled state of the oil pressure storage device once an idle stop condition which is set during driving is established; a stage that supplies oil pressure in an oil pressure line by releasing the filled state as an idle go condition is established; and a stage that starts an engine after the initiation of the oil pressure supply in the oil pressure line as an idle stop lifting condition is established. The control method of the oil pressure storage device additionally includes a stage that detects the operation signal of a brake; and the control method supplies the oil pressure to the oil pressure line by releasing the filled state once the operation signal is discontinued. The oil pressure storage device comprises a main housing with one inner side piped with the pressure line; a piston arranged to slide in the inner space of the main housing; a main spring which supports the piston to one end side of the space elastically; a fixture which fixes the piston to maintain the oil pressure, which is supplied through the oil pressure line, in the main housing; and a control part that makes a fixture to supply the oil pressure in the main housing to the oil pressure line by the elasticity of a main spring separating the fixture from the piston.
