PURPOSE: A paste for forming an electrode of a solar cell, a method for preparing the same, and a solar cell using the same are provided to reduce the contact resistance of the electrode by adding lead oxide to the electrode paste for the solar cell. CONSTITUTION: An electrode paste includes a conductive material, lead-free glass frit, an organic vehicle, and lead oxide. The lead oxide is 0.2 weight% to 0.5 weight%. The conductive material is 60 weight% to 90 weight%. The glass frit is 0.5 weight% to 20 weight%. The organic vehicle is 1 weight% to 30 weight%.
