PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling the illumination of light emitting diode modules are provided to reduce the brightness difference between a replaced LED module and other LED module. CONSTITUTION: The average illumination of an LED module except the illumination of a specific LED module and a specific light emitting device is measured(S310). The illumination of a replaced LED module is measured(S320). The illumination of the replaced LED module is compared with the average illumination of the LED module(S330).
