<p>The invention relates to a steam-cleaning device (10) having a liquid tank (24) for a cleaning liquid and having an electrically heatable steam boiler (28) for generating steam which can be applied to a surface to be cleaned, wherein liquid can be fed from the liquid tank into the steam boiler (28) by means of a pump (29) as a function of the filling level of the liquid in the steam boiler and wherein the filling level can be detected by means of a filling level sensor (62) arranged in the steam boiler.
