METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BODY TRACKING FOR SPATIAL GESTURE RECOGNITION

PURPOSE: A body tracking method for space gesture recognition and a system thereof are provided to overcome influences of people moving around a user, damage to a device caused by the separation of an object during manipulation, or a limitation of a gesture direction. CONSTITUTION: A camera(13) is installed on a head of a user(11). The camera photographs a body image of a view angle that the user looking down. A traffic processing unit(14) sequentially specifies a head position, an arm position, a hand position, and a hand posture of the user from the body image.
