PURPOSE: A foundation block for preventing scouring is provided to firmly support a plurality of block bodies and to offer a habitat for water plants and fishes around the block bodies by forming an internal fish way. CONSTITUTION: A foundation block(1) for preventing scouring comprises a plurality of block bodies(10,10') on the boundary of the slope of an embankment and the bottom of the river to form a foundation by continually combining in the longitudinal direction. A block body comprises a bottom projection(11), a vertical projection(12), a fitting projection(13), an insertion groove(14), and a fish way(15). The bottom projection has a long side in the longitudinal direction and forms a flat surface in the horizontal direction. The vertical projection is upwardly and vertically protruded from the bottom projection and forms a flat surface in the vertical direction. The fitting projection is formed to be protruded along a vertical surface of one side of block bodies in the longitudinal direction. The insertion groove is formed to face and insert to the fitting projection. The fish way is connected to each other to form an internal space of the block bodies. |
